Cornelius Living / Work with us

For local businesses and organizers.

Propose a story, a hosted visit, an event listing or a clearly labeled sponsored feature.

How it works

Plain rules.

  • Editorial coverage is free and never guaranteed.
  • Hosted visits and sponsored features are labeled as such on the page.
  • We don’t promise positive coverage, rankings or audience size.
  • Facts are checked against official sources before anything is published.

Read our editorial standards.

Ways to work together

Four kinds of collaboration.

01

Editorial story ideas

Tell us about something genuinely useful to people exploring Cornelius: a local tradition, a distinctive craft, a new way to enjoy the lake or Old Town. Story ideas are judged on usefulness to readers and are never guaranteed coverage.

02

Hosted visits

Venues may invite us to experience a class, a meal or a rental. Any profile that results from a hosted visit says so plainly on the page, and hosting never buys a favorable description.

03

Event inclusion

Organizers of recurring Cornelius traditions can ask to be listed on our evergreen events page. We link to the organizer’s own calendar rather than storing dates, so listings stay accurate year after year.

04

Clearly labeled features

If a sponsored feature is ever published, it will be labeled as sponsored at the top of the page and held to the same accuracy rules as editorial content. We do not sell rankings, reviews or placement in the directory.
