Where AI is used
- Itinerary planner: your dates, time and interests are sent to an AI model provider through an AI gateway service, which suggests stops chosen only from the guide’s own list of places.
- Journal: articles are generated by an AI model and published automatically on a schedule. They pass automated checks against the guide’s topic facts and rules, but there is no human review before publication.
- Images: many photographs on the site are computer-generated illustrations.
- Drafting: guide text may have been drafted or edited with AI assistance.
Limits of AI output
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading, even after automated checks. Do not rely on AI-generated material for consequential decisions such as buying, selling, building, financing, legal or safety decisions. Verify with the responsible organization or a licensed professional.
Your submissions
Inputs to the itinerary planner are sent to the AI provider to produce your result. Do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information. We do not make claims about how AI providers retain or use request data beyond their own published policies. The inquiry form is not sent to an AI provider.
