Official website

Why choose it

When the point of the meal is the view: a terrace over the water, sunset light and a holiday mood.

What to expect

A lively, casual room with indoor and outdoor seating that fills quickly in warm weather.

Practical notes

  • Waterfront seating is not the same as guest docking. Ask the restaurant directly before arriving by boat.
  • Reservation and seasonal patio policies are set by the restaurant; check its site.

Dining in Cornelius, done well

Cornelius restaurants cluster in three patterns: lake-facing rooms along the West Catawba and Statesville Road side of town, chef-driven and casual spots along North Main Street, and the walkable blocks of Old Town on Catawba Avenue. Choosing by setting first — water view, a walk afterward, or a quick bite near home — usually narrows the field faster than choosing by cuisine.

Weekend evenings and warm-weather sunsets are the busiest times at waterside restaurants. Reserving where the restaurant accepts reservations, arriving early for a view, and confirming patio seating directly with the restaurant avoids most disappointment.

Before you go

  • Check the restaurant’s own website or phone line for current hours and menus before you go.
  • A waterfront dining room is not the same as a public boat dock; ask before arriving by boat.
  • Pair dinner with a walk in Old Town or a sunset at Jetton Park for a fuller evening.
